This retreat aims to help you reconnect with your inner artist and consider individual strategies for developing an art practice that will be sustainable within your own life. Since April 4, 2017 Tia has maintained a daily art practice producing one watercolor/drawing/painting each day and sharing it on Instagram. She did this while running her Silvercocoon jewelry business, managing her family-household and expanding the scope of her work and purpose as an artist. More important than the content produced, are the lessons that stem from the practice of making time, and facing a blank page every day. This retreat is about the work it takes inside our selves and learning to set ourselves free simply by showing-up.
CROOKED CREEK RETREAT : 40564 Crooked Creek Road Hinckley, MN 55037
Two different cabins offer a variety of sleeping options from private to shared rooms to bunk-house type accommodations. Full kitchen, bathrooms and shower available in the main cabin. We will work to make sure everyone is comfortable with their sleeping spot.
This is a private location that will foster an intimate and safe place for personal reflection and growth while connecting to the small group.

Additionally, once you have secured your spot, please join the Facebook event page for this retreat so that you can see who else will be coming and so that we can easily communicate with the group as we get closer to the date.
Meals: bring food for yourself for breakfasts and lunch. Potluck dinner will be planned closer to the date.
